A word from our participants........

I felt incredibly nervous before reading at the recent Qld Poetry Festival, but after I felt relief and appreciation to be able to showcase my work and grateful for the opportunity. (Word on the Street participant)

Having something to do in my day and learning new things is really important and valuable to me. (participant across all programs)

The program makes me feel great and validated and proud and a part of something I can really enjoy. Learning and progressing is of great benefit. (Word on the Street participant)

The best part about the Choir program for me, is the joy and the feeling of contentment, importance, respect and acceptance from all. (Choir participant)

I really look forward to choir every week - I feel like the other members are like 'family". (choir participant)
