March 2017 V.2
Whether you're age 8 or 80, there's something for you at Camp Stevens this year! We hope you'll join us sometime in 2017 - for a sunset in Upper Meadow, a conversation around the table at a family weekend, or an adventure in the Sierras. Can't make it to Julian this year? Bring the spirit of camp to your own home by hosting a Japanese camper August 12 - 14. Check out our website or give us a call (760/765-0028) if you have any questions about our programs or availability.

See you soon!

2017 Programs
There are a few new and updated summer programs, and the reservation structure for Family Camps has changed.  Be sure to check out the website for more information.
We're looking for homestay hosts for our 17 Japanese campers (all boys, ages 13-16), for two nights, August 12-14. This helps them round out the International Odyssey experience.

Being a host means picking up 1-2 (or more!) campers, either at Camp Stevens or at summer camp bus stop, on the morning of August 12, and dropping them off either at LAX or a Mission Bay hotel on the morning of August 14.

In between, it's up to you! Campers come with their own spending money, and are eager to practice their English with Americans of all ages. You can go big and take your campers to Disneyland or SeaWorld, or hang out close to home or at the beach, playing basketball or video games.

Families who host a Japanese camper will receive $50 off a summer camp or wilderness trip registration.

Contact Lauren at for more information or to volunteer.
