Doug Tatum, Chairman of the Board, Newport Board Group

 

Doug Tatum was the founding Chairman and CEO of Tatum LLC, which grew into a highly respected national professional services firm, has written an award winning best-selling business book, No Man's Land, and currently is Entrepreneur in Residence at the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at Florida State University. He serves as Chairman of Newport Board Group, a national Partnership of CEO's and senior executives who advise middle market companies and the private equity firms that invest in them.  He is Vice-Chairman of the Global Board of Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and also serves as the Advisory Board Chairman for the Institute for Exceptional Growth Companies (IEGC), a national research institute-funded by the NASDAQ Foundation and the Edward Lowe Foundation.

 

Doug's topic is "The US Middle Market - The New Normal".  Using data and research from the IEGC, Doug Tatum will provide an update on the structural change in the US middle market and the implications of those changes to the Investment Banking, Accounting, Legal and Private Equity Industries.
