Directors, administrators, family day home owners and others in leadership positions in infant and toddler settings are invited to participate in this two-part CSEFEL Pyramid Model Module 4 Leadership Institute presented by Diana Bermudez, LPC, Ph.D., Mental Health Consultant.

Infant and toddler provider settings that have a plan for how to support challenging behavior often have:

Reduced challenging behaviors among infants and toddlers;
Fewer staff turnover and burnout; and
Increased numbers of parents who feel confident that their children’s needs are being met.

If you were unable to participate in November’s special two-day Leadership Webinar presented by Dr. Bermudez, we are excited to now offer to those in leadership positions the opportunity to view the archived sessions at your leisure so that you can enhance your leadership skills as you continue to support infants and toddlers in your child care settings.

This two-part webinar series consists of two 3-hour sessions, which can be viewed at your convenience and without time restrictions.

Certificates of Completion for 6 credit hours will be awarded upon completion of both sessions. (Credit hours can be applied toward licensing hours.)

At the end of this two-part Leadership Institute, participants will be able to:

Identify strategies to address common barriers to supporting infants and toddlers’ behavioral needs;
Identify effective leadership strategies to help address challenging behaviors, including collaborative planning, program-wide planning and professional development, and;
Apply collaborative action planning strategies for improving children’s social-emotional and behavioral outcomes to help reduce challenging behaviors.

Registration is required.

The $25.00 registration fee includes action plans and a CSEFEL Module 4 Participant Workbook, which will be sent as a PDF attachment via email.

Participants are expected to complete:

A pre-test survey and workbook assignment prior to participating in Session 1 (instructions for both are included in registration confirmation emails), and
A post-test survey upon completion of Session 2. (Certificates of Completion are downloadable upon submission of this survey.)
