We are planning a webinar for self-advocates to ask questions about sex and relationships. A webinar is a presentation done with a computer and the internet. To get ready for the webinar, we are collecting questions from self-advocates about relationships and sex. During the webinar, a sexuality educator will answer some of the questions.
We are excited about your sex and relationship questions! Below is a link to a survey to collect your questions about sex and relationships. But if you do not want to do this survey, that's OK too. You will not be in trouble or punished if you do not complete this survey. If a question makes you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable you can skip any question if you don't want to answer it. You can stop at any time. It is also OK to have someone help you. You can also call Rebekah or Julie if you want to do this survey over the phone. Rebekah and Julie's phone number are below.
To the extent allowed by law, please know that your responses will be confidential or kept secret. We do not ask for your name on the survey or over phone. No one, other than someone who helped you complete this survey, will know what you said in this survey. By doing the survey you are agreeing to have your answers added to other peoples.
In addition to the webinar series, journal articles or presentations may be developed to inform the field of disability about the gaps in knowledge related to relationships and sexual health for self-advocates.
