He has become the unofficial spokes person for modern stock car racing.  His fans have watched him grow up, from those early short track days.  His casual style, and friendly attitude, have helped to sell millions of dollars worth of products.  Dale Jr. made everyone proud, and carried racing, through some very tough times as well.   The decision to step aside was difficult, but a good personal, and professional choice. He will still be around the track  somehow, there is no doubt about that
