We especially welcome this Sunday, the Rev. Jud Pealer, for ten years the rector in Rangeley, Maine, now living in South Paris. Fr. Warren is visiting his son and family in their new house in Oregon. Rite I Eucharist is at 8:00am. The Joyful Noise Choir begins this Sunday at 8:15am; children's events follow through the 9:30 Eucharist.
  
The Worship Committee will meet Wednesday, October 19, at 4:15pm to review where we are and plan for All Saints Sunday, Advent, and Christmas. If you have an idea, hope, or suggestion for our worship speak to a member- Melissa Sparks, Janet Kazar, Susan Trask, Evelyn Ehrenfried, Mary Lou Rider, or Dan Warren, Chair.

Maine Diocesan Convention
The Maine Diocesan Convention is Saturday, October. 22, in Portland. Our delegates are George Sheats, Melanie Lee, and Fr. Warren. Peggy Gatchell and Evelyn Ehrenfried are alternates. Paul Beaudette will be attending as a member of Diocesan Council. If you you'd like to join us for the day, and glimpse our wider church in action, please let one of us know.
Outreach
Jeannine Westleigh is back home and could use our help with meals. Homemade Chicken Noodle or Vegetable Soups (with no tomatoes or spicy seasonings, please) would be greatly appreciated. Please put them in the freezer downstairs and let Evelyn know. Thank You!
PET MONTH
October is our month to help our four footed friends. Any kind of animal food, kitty litter or treats. These items will go to the Animal Shelter on Strawberry Avenue, Lewiston.
