w/ 'the adventures of a prima gallerina'
We are in the final hours of our Kickstarter Campaign to assist with expenses to showcase several of our artists at the San Francisco Art MRKT from May 17 - 20, there, we will be presenting the work of Lori Larusso, David Page, Jenee Mateer, Scott Ponemone, T.R. Kaltreider, Janna Rice, Donald Edwards, Lat Naylor, & Edwin Remsberg.
This is an amazing opportunity for the artists of Jordan Faye Contemporary as it will continue to pursue the vision of placing them in major collections and museums throughout the world. Contributions to the campaign come with many great rewards including limited edition prints, small drawings, and small to medium paintings, and sculpture. There's even an opportunity to have a cocktail party in the gallery with several of our artists and attend a special Celebration Party after we return from the fair. 'The Adventures of a Prima Gallerina' was created & launched on Kickstarter.com; Go watch the video, read our story, and help send us to San Francisco! OUR MISSION :: Jordan Faye Contemporary was founded in 2006 as a platform to give emerging artists a wider audience. Several years ago the gallery moved to its current location in Federal Hill. Since its inception, the gallery has showcased the work of over 200 artists. Currently, the gallery represents fifteen artists, who are now at various stages in their careers. The mission is to show work that is not only of contemporary interest, but will be of lasting historical significance. Our vision is to bring our Artists to cities all over the world. So far the plan has taken us to Art Fairs in Washington D.C. and Miami, FL, with the trip to San Francisco scheduled for later this month. We've also recently been accepted into several other fairs as far away as Basel, Switzerland. For more information, please visit: www.jordanfayecontemporary.com
Note: If you are unfamiliar with Kickstarter, this is a terrific organization however it is an all-or-nothing style of fundraising. We've already reached 80% of our goal and are well on our way! However, Our Kickstarter Campaign ends this friday / may 11 @ 8pm / 2012. Pledges must be made by then!
A Special Note ::
Many Many Many Thanks to the awesome team who spent countless hours laboring over our video & all the illustrations that made it possible!! Illustrations by the wonderful & talented Carabella Sands, Kickstarter video & animation: by the awesome & tenacious Jenee Mateer, Voice: by the lovely Willa Frazer, Music by amazing guitarist Luke Chohany, and last but not least Chloe & Lucy, the adorable furry friends & greeters of the gallery.
