Slow Food Philadelphia

Slow Food is a non-profit member supported International movement, founded in 1989 to counter the rise of fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people's dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.

Bridging Piedmont, Italy and Philadelphia - Piedmontese Wines and Locally Produced Cheese Selected by Di Bruno Brothers Tasting Hosted by Guest Speaker Paolo Di Croce, Executive Director of Slow Food International

Just a reminder we still have some tickets at only $20 left for our momentous event happening this Wednesday, September 7th, from 5pm until 7pm at World Café Live, 3025 Walnut Street.

Philadelphia was selected to host our charismatic leader Paolo Di Croce, who is the Executive Director of Slow Food International.  Paolo will give a short presentation on our work around the globe and particularly a project "A Thousand Gardens in Africa".

We have kept this event affordable with a $20 admission charge so we can really encourage you, our friends and members, to come out show your support.

We are pouring 6 wines from Piedmont ranging from Barbera, Gavi, Moscato to Brachetto to connect us to our International center (offices and University) located in the Piedmont region of Italy.  Di Bruno Brothers has selected 5 amazing locally made cheeses to go with the wines.

Please, we need your support so come out and be a part of this great Slow Food event honoring one of the great vocal leaders in the food movement.

We recommend you purchase your tickets in advance by going to https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/196078.  We will be selling tickets at the door, but space is limited.
