Dear Parents and Guardians,

On Thursday of last week, I sent an email inviting you to participate in the District's strategic planning process.  This is a reminder, as our input meetings are taking place tomorrow, and email submissions are due tomorrow as well.  If you are interested in submitting your name for the Strategic Planning Committee, please do so by 9am on Friday.  Thank you!

Invitation to Participate in our Strategic Planning Process
The Board of Trustees is interested in engaging the District community in a strategic planning process to set our organizational goals for the next 3 to 5 years.  This will ensure that our staff's efforts are in line with the District community's broader interests in the service of our youth.  We will only know what your interests are if you share them with us.  We need your input!  Below are directions for providing us input as well as an invitation to join the Strategic Planning Committee. 

How to Provide Input into the Strategic Plan:  Come to a meeting or email us!
All parents are invited to attend a Strategic Plan Parent Input meeting on Wednesday, September 3.  We have one meeting in the morning and one in the evening:

• 9am-10:30am at the District Office, or
• 7pm-8:30pm at the Nesbit Multi-Use Room

Alternatively, you can reply to this email and answer the following questions.  We will incorporate feedback sent in by email through September 3.  

• What are the personal skills and attributes your child needs now, for high school, and beyond?
• List anything else the Strategic Planning Committee should know in planning for the future of the District in the next 3-5 years.

 

Submit your Name to Join the Strategic Planning Committee 

Beyond an initial round of input with regard to parent interests, we are looking for 20-25 District stakeholders who are interested in serving on the Strategic Planning Committee.  We expect for this committee to come together twice, from 9am to 4pm on September 10 and October 15.  If you are interested in participating at this level and are available on these two days, please let us know.  Again, you can reply to this email with the following information:

• Name
• Connection to the District (if parent, please provide school and grade of students)
• Street and City of Residence
• Email and Phone
