Off 'Script' is a powerful and thought-provoking portrayal of three high school students who share their stories of the consequences related to their addictions to prescription drugs. Following the presentation, representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) will share local and national trend data related to opioid and heroin use and consequences.
Pine-Richland High School will be sharing the same Saltworks presentation along with a shortened version of the FBI/DEA presentation with all students in grades 9-12 on Wednesday,
May 17, 2017.
Parents who would like to
opt their child out of this assembly should complete the
Opt Out form and return the form to your child's homeroom teacher by
Monday, May 15, 2017.
Although these are difficult topics to view and discuss, they are important for our community to understand. Please contact your child's school counselor at 724-625-4444 should you have any questions or concerns.
