Winter Clothing Drive

As the weather gets colder we will be doing our part by launching a Winter Clothing Drive through the end of December.

Winter hats, scarves, gloves, coats, or sweaters can be dropped off at our office, which is located at 3223 N. Sheffield. The donations will benefit local non-profits in our community.

For additional information, please call our office at 773-296-4141, email Daniel@staterepsara.com, or visit www.staterepsara.com.

Dear Neighbor,

I can't think of a more exciting start to a November than this year.  Less than two weeks ago all eyes were on our 12 th  District and Chicago as the Cubs broke the longest championship drought in American sports history and finally earned a WORLD SERIES TITLE!!

I'm sure you can still feel the buzz that is still very much alive and hopefully that energy will springboard us into a positive 2017! The Cubs are, without a doubt, one of the feel good stories of the year and a lesson for all of us that anything is possible.  It's a frame of mind that I will take with me into the next two years as I humbly represent you in Springfield.

I want to thank you for your support and for the trust you've shown in me to be your voice at the Capitol. I promise to never stop fighting for the issues that are important to all of us here in the 12 th District.

FALL VETO SESSION

I'm also excited to get back to business in Springfield this week and expect to discuss some important issues during the upcoming fall veto session.  It is my hope that we will to continue work towards approving full budget so that individuals and organizations that need our help the most will be able to stop living in doubt and have confidence in their government. I'll continue to keep you up to date on our social media channels throughout the fall session.

NOVEMBER: CELEBRATING ADOPTION AWARENESS MONTH
Rep. Feigenholtz with Rep. Williams and Pennsylvania Represenative Kerry Benninghoff, sponsor of the Pennsylvania OBC Access bill.

The month of November is Adoption Awareness Month. The state of Pennsylvania became the 21st state to follow in the footsteps of Illinois in allowing access to original birth certificates for adult adopted persons.
Sara with her three birth sisters.

The new law means Pennsylvania adoptees, like my legislative colleague Rep. Ann Williams, will have access to important information about who they are and where they come from. The Illinois law gave thousands of Illinoisans the right to this information, including me who reunited with my three sisters just this past year!

We want to hear from you and the issues that are important to you and your family. A s always, please do not hesitate to contact our office if we can ever be of assistance to you. Also, be sure to check out our  Facebook   and Twitter pages to keep in touch and learn more about news and events in the area.

Very truly yours,
