By cultivating more mind-body awareness we create space for healing & reflection while clearing the pathway toward inner peace & clarity.
This workshop provides techniques for much needed relief from stress and fatigue, balancing the mind and body.

THE ART OF VINYASA
HOLLIE SUE MANN
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 1:30-3:30PM
Join Hollie Sue Mann for a guided break-down of the essence of conscious flow, and turn your practice into a fully embodied meditation in motion to establish a connection that is fluid, lucid, and light--both on and off the mat.
Vinyasa is a highly sophisticated practice, involving multiple techniques. Explore the foundations of vinyasa including optimal breathing, where to set your gaze, how to harness inner energy (prana), and how to link breath with well-aligned movement and intention through an asana sequence. Discover the magic in the moments between the moments, with elegant transitions. Transform your everyday practice into an extraordinary experience! All levels welcome.
CANDLELIGHT YOGA & GONG BATH
WITH NICOLE NICHOLS AND ALISHA NISSENENFELD
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 6:15-7:45PM
Join Nicole Nichols for a class featuring chanting, meditation, vinyasa flow, and culminating in a 20-minute extended savasana with a gong bath played live by Alisha Nissenfeld.
Of all the instruments used in sound healing, the Gong is perhaps the most powerful, and the most mysterious. Gong Meditations, also called Gong Baths, are deeply nourishing and restorative. Through the intense vibrations of the sound, the body and mind are able to relax and surrender to the healing energies of the Gong. The Gong vibrates at the same frequency as the body, allowing students to experience deep healing on all levels of being as vibrations pass over and through them--leaving them feeling balanced, peaceful, and light.
During this healing and rejuvenating experience, students will relax comfortably with bolsters and blankets. No water is used in a gong bath; just enjoy the experience of vibrations washing over you!
Regular class pricing applies, free for first time students.
TEACHERS PRACTICE: THE ART OF YOGA ASSISTS
WITH NICOLE NICHOLS
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1:30-4:30PM
Join Nicole Nichols and discover the fine art of giving yoga assists. This workshop will focus on standing asanas. Learn how to enhance your student's yoga practice by working together to turn each asana into an extraordinary experience of body, breath and energy.
We'll explore alignment principles, how prana flows through a pose, common misalignments, use of props, and dynamic hands-on techniques.
Neither "corrections" nor "adjustments," yoga assists are a means to achieve steadiness and joy in the practice-Sthira-sukham asanam (YS II:46).
It is recommended that participants have a 200-hour (or higher) yoga certification, and/or strong practical experience of yoga asana.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 1:00-3:30PM
The yoga Mala is an ancient and elegant practice consisting of 108 sun salutations at the beginning of each new season.
The Mala is deeply personal, as you set your own intentions for the coming season of life, and it is also a beautifully shared practice, as we take part in the satsang and unite in the shared goal of letting go of what is no longer serving us.We'll create some space for all that awaits us.
Please join us for this reverent, special class. The sun salutations will be divided into 4 sets of 27, with breaks in between and plenty of time to rest and regroup. In addition to the asana, there will be chanting, meditation, and a long, restorative rest at the end. You needn't be an advanced practitioner to come to the Mala; you need only a desire to honor the passing of summer and the beginning of the Autumnal season.
