Research Matters

Professor Katreena Scott attended the Research Matters Pop-up research event on Parliament Hill in January. This event brought together Ontario university researchers and influential political decision makers and provided opportunities to ask researchers about their work. Ontario university researchers discussed with MPs topics such as bullying, safe water, solar power, and big data. Professor Scott was sponsored by the Office of the Associate Dean, Research, International & Innovation to participate in this event.
OISE faculty and students participated in the 59th CIES conference in Washington, D.C, March 8-13, 2015.The conference explored an imagined future where education is a moral enterprise that develops and shapes minds.

The Joseph P. Farrell Student Research Symposium 2015
In February 2015, CIDEC's annual Joseph P. Farrell Student Research Symposium 2015 (SRS) took place. The symposium provided an opportunity for students to present their thesis research, a partial requirement of the CIDE program (for MA, PhD, and EdD students). Read more
