Responding to Hurricane Harvey

The United Methodist Commission on Relief (UMCOR) is already swinging into action to help people in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to help you can donate directly to UMCOR's Domestic Disaster Response fund - 100% of the donations are used for relief efforts - or visit the UMCOR website for details about other ways to support recovery efforts. First Church will also be collecting a Special Offering this Sunday, September 3 in response to this great need.
Fall Kick-Off Day

A change of seasons brings new opportunities for learning and growing together. Join in the all-church activities, pick up information about new adult classes that begin Sunday, September 17, and celebrate coming together again as we head into Fall.
"It's a God-thing"

A God-thing is a moment of inexplicable grace, forgiveness or love. Guest preacher Rev. Ann Scott tells how through the United Methodist Hospital Ministry program she offers love and spiritual support to people without a Madison-area church affiliation and trusts God to do the rest.
First Church Ministries Highlights

During worship we express our appreciation for the wide variety of critical ministries to which our friends and members give their gifts of time and energy as an offering to God. There are many ways we can give to God and serve our neighbors. Maybe you will be inspired!
