Downtown Roanoke Restaurant Week
From January 21, 2013 through January 26, 2013, Downtown Roanoke, Inc., in partnership with local restauranteurs, will be showcasing the wide variety of dining options available in Downtown! Experience Downtown's mix of inspired lunch and dinner options, ranging from unique takes on the familiar to fine dining to adventurous eclectic offerings and authentic ethnic dishes.
Downtown Roanoke Restaurant Week will feature three price points to make it easy to explore the wide array of restaurants:

A $10 lunch option with a side and drink
A $20 three-course dinner option
A $30 three-course dinner option
All prices do not include tax or tip.

Greene Memorial Wednesday Noonday Services Resume
Wednesday Noonday Services resume at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church on January 16, 2013 at 12:05pm.

Opening the Spring Series of services will be the pastor of the church, The Reverend Gary Robbins.

Greene Memorial United Methodist Church, 402 Second Street at the corner of Church Avenue, serves as host for these services which are sponsored by the churches of downtown Roanoke. These 25-minute services begin at 12:05pm and offer messages of faith and hope from Roanoke's area clergy. With the home-cooked lunch that immediately follows (suggested $6 donation) you can come to the service, eat lunch and be back in your office in less than an hour!
