Bucks County Taste
Summer squash

July 6, 2012

Can it be?

Seems like everything is early this year. Heat waves, tomatoes and even sweet corn. But it's exciting - and delicious - to see my favorite summer veggies so soon. I've started pulling out all my summer recipes. "Finally," I say to myself, "I can make this now!"

This newsletter covers everything from old restaurants reopening to where you can take cheese making classes. Hope you enjoy it.

Be sure to check our Food Events in Bucks County calendar regularly. There are always interesting and fun things to eat and drink in Bucks and nearby.

Remember you can read us anytime, all the time, 24/7 online at www.BucksCountyTaste.com. Sign up to our Facebook page and you will receive notification whenever we post a new piece on the website.

All our best,

Bobolink Cheese

I was recently asked where someone could watch cheese making locally. Anyone who is making cheese is pretty busy during the process - it's not really a spectator sport. But you can sign up for cheese making courses at several local farms that specialize in producing fine cheese. One of these is Flint Hill Farm [...]
