OPENING Up

Lindsey Roberson - Team Member Support (SRG CSC)

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the July edition of RESTORED. My name is Lindsey Roberson and I have the privilege to serve as the Director of Team Member Support for Southeast Restoration Group. I am blessed to be married to my best friend and the love of my life, Ryan. He is an incredible husband and father.  Ryan and I are blessed to be called Mommy and Daddy by our beautiful and spunky 2 year old daughter, Reagan. These two are truly the joy of my life.

In December of 2014, God opened a door that I had been waiting for a very long time. I was given the opportunity to join the team at Southeast Restoration Group. I consider it a great honor and blessing to serve the amazing team members at Southeast.  For the first time in my professional life, I feel like God has me exactly where He wants me to be and where I have the opportunity to serve others through my work. Southeast has created an incredible company culture and I get to be a part of making that even better, how awesome! More important than anything, Southeast values my role as a wife and mother and gives me the opportunity every single day to be at home with my family for dinner and put my daughter to bed. This is something I do not take for granted.

I tell you all of that to say, joyful and happy team members are able to serve each and every Southeast client with love, compassion and a joyful heart. Our prayer is that you will give Southeast the opportunity to show you that our Vision, Mission and Core Values are not just words on paper, but a commitment to our team members, communities, clients and more importantly to our Savior.

LIVES Restored

The Crawford Contractor Connection (CCC) Convention in Orlando, FL was held in June.  SRG was a primary sponsor of the convention and had great representation (8 Team Members participated).

SRG was recognized for our SERVICE work and participating in the Hiring Our Veterans program.

SRG Canton was also a finalist (Top 3) for the 2014 Southeast Region Contractor of the Year.

SRG Canton and SRG Macon were both recognized as Top Performers (Top 100 Contractors) in the program (4,700+ contractors in the US and Canada).  This made the 9th consecutive year SRG has had a representative in the Top 100.  These contractors are chosen on criteria that include TIPS, POMS, Customer Survey scores, and the number of Issue Resolutions that are submitted each year.

All of SRG's offices were close to qualifying in 2014 and it is our goal to have all 6 SRG locations represented in the 2015 Top Performer.

The message of the conference focused on three main topics:

Communication

Job Completion Times reduced

Quality of work

As we focus on our Core Values as a foundation and intentionally strive to improve in these 3 areas operationally, we can better equip ourselves to live out our Mission Statement of:

Restoring Lives.
Repairing Property.

LEARNING More

Those dreaded words heard by every student across the nation "back to school" are in our midst.  The words that we as parents enjoy hearing are as well, "Tax Free days" are upon us.  July 31st and August 1st there will be tax free shopping on school supplies and other items that fit into that category.  Click here for more information on what supplies fit into the Tax Free shopping.

In next month's issue, there will be a guide to kids not accepting "Betcha can't stick your head through there" dares.

COMMUNITY Participation

Southeast Restoration Group has been a huge supporter of Give A Kid A Chance since their beginnings.  We love the work they do and support them in the good work they do in our community. For more information on how you can help Give a Kid A Chance click here.

June 26th we had a party to Celebrate the fourth of July and a time to blow off some steam.   Friendly competitions between Team Light Blue and Team Dark Blue resulted in Team Light Blue walking away with top honors after a close race won by  Team Light Blues Mark Tucker .
