OPENING Up

Gretchen Whitman - Team Coordinator (SRG Columbus)

My name is Gretchen Whitman and I am proud to serve as a Team Coordinator in the Columbus office. It is my honor to welcome you to this May edition of RESTORED.

I grew up in tiny town in Idaho where I met and married my high school sweetheart, Robert, the best husband and father in the world! We have two incredible children, Abigail (14) and Joshua (12), who couldn't be more different than day is from night! Being a mom is the thing I love most in the world. When my babies were born it was like I finally knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I have had the privilege of being an army wife for nearly seventeen years and we are currently stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. One of the most difficult challenges we have faced as a military family has been living so far away from our families. In Southeast Restoration Group we have found just that - a family!

Shortly after I began working for Southeast Restoration Group I was diagnosed with cancer. I had to undergo surgery and several months of treatment. I can say with conviction that the healing power of my Father and the outpouring of love and compassion from my SRG family got me through. There wasn't a day that went by that I wasn't comforted by this precious family. From prayers and words of encouragement to cards and home-cooked meals for my family, the SRG team embodied our core value, Serve with Compassion! Praise be to God that I can say today I am healthy and well!

It's such a blessing to work for a company that really does make a positive impact on every life they touch. From one whose life has truly been RESTORED, I would like to thank the SRG team from the bottom of my heart!

LIVES Restored

This month SRG Augusta finished a project that began back in the major ice storm of 2014. A devastating fire nearly took the lives of the Browns. From that fateful night to now, this family has blessed our Augusta team every step of the way. Their story of faith and trust is truly a special one. Story on the Browns.

A special thanks to SRG Augusta's Julio Perez who was the project manager and to the entire team of SRG Augusta for living out the core values and mission of SRG in the lives of others, everyday.

Southeast Restoration loves our vendors, we like to show our appreciation for the great work many of them provide for us. We like to bring in vendors and SERVE them with Compassion for a change.
