Resurgence has launched a crowdfunding campaign to secure a permanent home!

We have exciting news to share with you...
Resurgence has launched its first ever crowdfunding campaign!

We want to create a unique centre for education, environment and the arts - a centre that will embrace and reflect our commitment to living lightly on the Earth and provide a creative space for innovative ideas that will have a global impact.

Resurgence is currently based in a tiny barn conversation in Satish Kumar's garden. As the Trust continues to expand, the charity needs a new home to safeguard its future. The ideal space for our new home is the recently-closed Small School in Hartland, founded by Satish Kumar in the early 1980s, embracing ecological and spiritual principles.

However, the school's buildings are in need of major renovation - so we need your help to make our vision for The Resurgence Trust a reality.
A new centre for education, environment & the arts...

Our target is to raise £100,000 to cover the cost of renovating and restoring the buildings, working with sustainable partners to achieve Resurgence's vision.

Here's an artist's impression of how our new centre for education, environment and the arts could look!

Join our network of supporters...

Our network of leading thinkers and change-makers, many of whom have contributed to the magazine, are offering overwhelming support for the campaign, but we need the support of the Resurgence Community to make it happen!
An act of solidarity...

Tim Smit, co-founder of the Eden Project, says:
"Resurgence has been a tremendous force for good. It is absolutely vital that it is properly protected to thrive for another fifty years. I urge everybody to make a contribution as an act of solidarity and commitment."

  • A venue for talks, workshops, and films which will also be available to the local community.
  • A showcase for green technologies as the site is redeveloped.
