April 8-16, 2017

Lent nears its end as we await the solemn Three Days-the Paschal Triduum of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus.

This weekend is Palm Sunday and the liturgical color is red.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate for us to begin our processions at the Pieta before Mass.  (The 7 am Mass will begin in the foyer of the church, main entrance.)

This Saturday, April 8th, Fr. Noel will give a 1 hour presentation on, "The Lamentations of Jesus".  We will have Mass immediately following at noon.

Holy Week is a time of the year that should be lived like no other week!  The beauty of the liturgy is celebrated over 3 days from Thursday through Easter.  Come to the entire celebration and make extra time for prayer.  The Paschal Mystery is the center of our faith and its power is immense.  Live it!  And also remember that we are Resurrection people and Easter is our church celebration as well!
God Bless,
