Revised Prostate - CS SSF1 - PSA Lab Value Coding Guideline

The SEER Program recently mandated the review of 2012 diagnosed prostate cases to evaluate the accuracy of coding PSA values. CRGC staff reviewed over 10,000 prostate cases. Common errors in rounding PSA values were identified. As a result, the Prostate PSA Coding Guideline, initially distributed 4/28/2015, has been expanded to include rounding errors identified during this review. We hope the additional examples taken from actual CRGC cases are helpful to registrars. Effective immediately, please use this revised version for coding PSA values and discard the initial version, dated 4/28/2015.

The revised document can be found on the CRGC Website at http://crgc-cancer.org/registrar-resources/
