Did you know the Mayor gives a State of the City address every year? Did you know you may have missed it? It's understandable as it falls on the day where we have the most City events ever: our birthday of course. But we didn't want you to miss this one. So, about that birthday party...who picks up the tab? Rest assured, we manage the money for our all-day party better than you may remember doing in college. A few years ago, Mayor Sheppard had a light bulb idea to hold a golf tournament (The Mayors' Cup) to raise money to fund City events including July 4th, summer concerts, the Fall Festival and the annual Tree Lighting. Mark your calendars for the last weekend in March! Playing golf for the greater good... #everyonewins
