Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The library will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25.

Star Trek Beyond Screening


Wednesday, November 2nd @ 7 p.m.

A surprise attack in outer space forces the Enterprise to crash-land on a mysterious world. The assault came from Krall (Idris Elba), a lizard-like dictator who derives his energy by sucking the life out of his victims. Krall needs an ancient and valuable artifact that's aboard the badly damaged starship. Left stranded in a rugged wilderness, Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the rest of the crew must now battle a deadly alien race while trying to find a way off their hostile planet.

Star Wars Reads Day
 
Saturday, November 5th @ Noon

There is so much for all ages to explore at Star Wars Reads Day! Become part of the Star Wars universe while you try a demo of a role playing game. Test out your building skills by creating your own race track at the pod-racing session. You can even design your own light saber. And don't forget to check out a stack of books from the Jedi Reading Room! There's something for everyone at this unique celebration, and, as always, costumes & wookiee calls are welcome! See you soon in a galaxy not so far away.

The library is also having a Haiku Contest and Coloring Challenge in the days leading up to the event...


Friends of the Library
Used Book Sale

The book sale will be held November 10 - 12, 2016.

Thursday: Early Bird Sale from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Get a leg up on the competition by attending the Friends of the Library used book Early Bird Sale!  Free for Friends members to attend ($3 entrance fee for all others), the Early Bird Sale will let you browse and purchase any of the books available.  The sale will then be open free of charge on Friday and Saturday.

Friday: Book Sale area open from Noon - 7:30 pm

The library might close at 6:00, but the book sale will remain open until 7:30 for anyone looking for a great deal on a gently-used book.  Come back tomorrow for even more deals!

Saturday: BAG SALE!  Book Sale area open from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

The Friends of the Library semi-annual used book sale continues with a $4 bag sale (standard paper grocery bag size).


Who Gets Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate?  The Inheritance Process

Tuesday, November 10th @ 2:00 p.m.

 
Join Shelley Tidemann, Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education (WAHCE) State Liaison, for a presentation about the inheritance process

Passing on non-titled personal possessions can be a daunting task. This informative session will help you prepare for inheritance issues following a death or family crisis, during a move to an apartment or nursing home, or in preparing an individual's estate.
