for North Texas nonprofits that is powered by creative nonprofits, social media activism, area wide collaboration, and of course you!
North Texas Giving Day's goal is
to help build awareness and support
for nonprofits in the North Texas region.
Since 2009, Communities Foundation of Texas' North Texas Giving Day has pumped more than $156 million, for over 2,500 local nonprofits, into the North Texas Community. In 2016, $37 million was raised through more than 142,000 gifts benefiting 2,518 nonprofits.

Where is North Texas Giving Day?
North Texas Giving Day is an online event. Most of the activity took place via this NorthTexasGivingDay.org website.
- In addition, Communities Foundation of Texas and some nonprofits will host donation stations on September 14, 2017. Donation Station locations will be announced in June.

What is Communities Foundation of Texas?
In 2009, Communties Foundation of Texas (CFT) created North Texas Giving Day, as one of the first—and now the largest—community-wide giving events in the world! Presenting North Texas Giving Day is one of the many ways CFT serves as a hub for philanthropy in North Texas. As one of the largest community foundation in the nation, CFT professionally manages more than 900 charitable funds for families, companies, foundations and nonprofits and has awarded more than $1.6 billion in grants since its founding in 1953.
