The project is researching ways to control invasive Signal Crayfish in upland rivers and is centering around the River Barle and Withypool. A team of trained volunteers go out two days a week, some volunteer just about every day, others as and when they can. We ask for a minimum commitment of about one morning per fortnight from April -October, most of which need to be Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
