Chamber's 2015 legislative wish list: tax cuts, rollback of minimum wage inflation index
From the MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE: Top priorities on the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce's 2015 legislative wish list include tax relief for small and midsize businesses, rolling back automatic increases in the minimum wage to account for inflation, and adjusting how transportation infrastructure is funded in the state. The chamber's policy team on Thursday laid out priorities in five areas, including tax relief, education and workforce development, health care, transportation and labor and management.

Tiny Tots & Little Tykes Preschool and Childcare Center is Looking for Donations!
Tiny Tots & Little Tykes Preschool and Childcare Center is asking for donations. Items needed include:
- All types of paper
- Art supplies of all kinds (construction paper, markers, glue, scissors, etc.)
- Dress up clothes
- Toys, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, children's books, puzzles, etc.
- Clothes for children ages 6 weeks old through age 12
- Outerwear for children ages 6 weeks old through age 12 (coats, boots, snow pants, shoes, mittens, hats)
Donations can be delivered to Tiny Tots & Little Tykes Preschool and Childcare Center at 60 E. Marie Ave., West St. Paul, MN or to the Chamber Office at 5782 Blackshire Path IGH.
The South St. Paul/Inver Grove Heights Rotary Club is Accepting Nominations for the 2015 SOHR Award Recipient! Candidates should have made an impact on the greater South St. Paul, West St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights area for in excess of 10 years by being either a resident or having provided their humanitarian service in these communities. The recipient will be acknowledged at the club's "SOHR Banquet and Fundraiser" on Friday, April 10th and receive a $1,000 donation in their name to a charity of their choice. Please contact the award coordinator Joe Gullerud at 651-789-1814 or [email protected] with your nomination no later than Friday, January 2nd.
