The Small Business Award Trade Show is held in conjunction with the Small Business Award Luncheon on Thursday April 16th at the Clarion Hotel in South St. Paul. Join us as we recognize the 2015 Small Business of the Year!

Our Keynote Speaker for this event will be Joan Thompson, the Executive Vice President/CFO  of Minnesota Wire, a privately owned, custom wire and cable manufacturer in the medical, defense, and commercial industries. The company has facilities in St. Paul, MN and Eau Claire, WI. Joan has been an integral part of growing the business for over 30 years and strongly supports the company's core belief to "lead by ethical example" both in business and within the community.

2015 SOHR Award Recipient Named! 

The South St. Paul/Inver Grove Heights Rotary Club is honored to announce that Lois Swanson has been chosen as the 2015 SOHR recipient. Lois has dedicated her life to improving the community of South St. Paul in a variety of ways. She has been an important figure in either creating or promoting several action groups in our community including Neighbors Inc. - one of the largest social service organizations in Dakota County; Restorative Justice - a theory of justice that emphasizes repairing the harm caused or revealed by criminal behavior; River Environmental Action Project (REAP) which ensures that the rivers in our communities stay clean and vibrant; Peace Camp which gives students tools to facilitate peaceful conflict resolution; Community Connection Circles - a program to assist those who have been incarcerated become functional, productive members of society.? Her impact on the River Heights area has been profound and far reaching.? Lois will be recognized at the club's banquet and fundraiser on Friday, April 10th at Southview Country Club. The goal this year is to raise the City 's zip code or 55,075 pounds of non-perishable food items for Neighbors, Inc.
