Officials offer first peek at Riverfront
Design includes promenade, dock; goal date is 2018



The development on the banks of the St. Marys River between Harrison Street and the Wells Street Bridge will include terraced land leading to the south side of the river. It will include shade structures, a promenade, a pavilion on the south side and educational features.

BuskerFest in Review
Performing Tradition Celebrated
 

It was Fort Wayne's seventh annual BuskerFest, a celebration of street artists and performers. Inside a circle lined with yellow rope, Circules danced, told jokes, made balloon animals and juggled fire.

Hundreds gathered in Headwaters Park West to eat, drink and enjoy the river Saturday. Dynamic Dragon Boat Racing from Knoxville, Tennessee, provided the boats, oars, life jackets and rower training.

Don't miss the unofficial kick-off of the Three Rivers Festival! Join thousands of others early Saturday morning to watch our community celebrate Indiana's Bicentennial! Floats, gigantic balloons, and marching bands are a must for any great parade and, as usual, it will not disappoint!

The show will launch from the Indiana Michigan Power Center downtown Monday. The Fort Wayne TinCaps will host a baseball game that evening beginning at 6:35 p.m.

Patriotic Pops Concert
Fort Wayne Philharmonic
 

This is the third annual Patriotic Pops that the Philharmonic has offered at Parkview Field. Attendance at last year's concert was estimated to be over 8,000 so this is a very popular event for the orchestra. Admission is free.

 
Downtown Gateway Feature


Distillery Experience Tour




Join Three Rivers Distilling Co. on Friday, July 8 to experience Fort Wayne's only distillery. Tours of the distillery will run in 45 minute intervals from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Tickets are $25 each and include one free craft cocktail and dinner. Catering and bar service will be by Shigs In Pit with local craft beer and wine available.
