MATH MARATHON RESULTS
The Math Marathon is over and we have a winner: Mrs. Mann's 3rd Grade Class!  Congratulations to this tenacious group who completed 21,268 IXL problems to win the top spot.  Rounding out the top five were Ms. Rizzi's class, Ms. Arbulu's class, Mrs. Winningham's class, and Ms. Cullen's class.  But the biggest winner is Riverside School!  Students completed a total of 201,735 problems over the four-week period.  Go Riverside!
T RADING CANDY FOR A CHILD'S SMILE
The Wellness Committee would like to thank all Riverside School families and children who donated unwanted Halloween candy.  We collected even more this year - in fewer days - for a total of  434 LBS !!!  Local pediatric dentist, Dr. Stacy Zarakiotis, is matching $2 for every pound of candy collected and will in turn be donating the $868 to  Operation Smile . Because of our school's enormous donation, we will fund at least 3 pediatric cleft lip surgeries for children in need!
