PTA Highlights
Dear Parents,

We would like to give a warm welcome to Safiya Key, who joined the Riverside School community this past Monday as our interim Assistant Principal.  She brings experience with her from her previous work in the district and a great positive energy for supporting our school.  She has jumped straight in to start getting up to speed on things quickly.  We encourage you to introduce yourself and welcome her if you see her at pick-up, drop-off or around school.

Also, we would like to highlight two important upcoming dates for next week:

- Tuesday, Sept. 26th is our Open House - Back to School Night at Riverside for parents.  Please see below for details and times.

- Saturday, Sept. 30th is our deadline for Directory Information for the paper version we will be printing. Please g o to www.RIVPTA.ORG  and log in to create a family profile so you are included in our print and online directory.  To be able to access the directory you must be a PTA member so please follow the directions on the website to join the PTA. There is also a great App you can download "Membership Toolkit".

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,
Jenn Wolfe & Sarah Morris
Riverside School PTA Co-Presidents

GREEN TIP OF THE WEEK
Idle Free Zone - If you are going to be stopped for more than 30 seconds (in the pick up line!), it's always best to turn off your engine. This simple step can dramatically reduce children's exposure to pollutants, save a little money, and help the environment.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email us at [email protected].

Sincerely,
Jenn Wolfe and Sarah Morris
