The Distinguished Teachers Awards Committee (DTAC) has launched the 2018 Distinguished Teachers Awards nomination process. Please visit the GPS website at

THE STEM FAIR IS COMING!
Riverside's fourth annual STEM Fair will be held on
March 20-21, 2018! The Fair gives students a chance to sharpen their STEM skills as they explore their world and/or create solutions to real-world problems. Participation is voluntary and all students in grades K-5 are welcome! For more information and to register, click

EDS/SPECIAL EDUCATION PARENT MEETING
The next EDS/Special Education Parent Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 22nd at 1:00pm, at Town Hall in the Mazza Meeting Room. Presented by Attorney Jeffrey L. A NOTE FROM THE NURSE
 Postural Screenings will be done the week of February 20th for 5th grade girls only during Physical Education Classes.
A letter went home on Friday, February 2nd.

YOUR CHILD'S DIGITAL LIFE
Please mark your calendars for the following upcoming sessions led by Mrs. Browning:
- Tuesday, March 6th -- Getting to Know Schoology and Google Drive
- Tuesday, April 3rd -- Power Apps Used in School
These sessions will run from 2-3pm in the Media Center. An additional evening session from 7-8pm is currently under consideration, depending on demand. The night session will run if there is enough interest.

. Our goal is to have all families at Riverside using this system. Also, there is a School Dismissal Manager (SDM) App available so you can make updates on the go! Please contact the front office if you no longer have the details for login.
This is especially important as the cold weather approaches as we may leverage this technology to help with our Emergency Early Release process.
