Quick Reminders
Time to Shut Off Your Secondary Water Valve
The Riverton City Water Department will start filling the secondary water system on March 15, though it will not be available for use until May 1. It is now time to turn your secondary water valve to the closed position. This valve is located in the green box in your front yard. If your secondary ball valve is not turned off, you may experience flooding when the system starts to fill. The City is not responsible for any problems that may occur from winterization techniques in private sprinkler systems. A $60 fee will be assessed if City staff have to shut off your ball valve in your secondary green box.
