Tuesday Night RacingEscape Velocity
The World Tuesday Night Championships returned to UBC on Tuesday May 3rd, 2011.
The now-traditional "short course" will run again in 2011, starting at the parking lot, rolling down Main Mall, down the hill at 16th, up Stadium Road for the start-finish near the front of Thunderbird Stadium.

Robert W. Cameron Law Cycling Series

Online registration is open for the Robert W. Cameron Law Cycling Series, May 28-29 in Victoria. The two-day series, part of the Victoria International Cycling Festival presented by Harbour Air, features 2010 Tour de France seventh-place finisher, and Victoria's own Ryder Hesjedal, who will be making an appearance at the Kona/Russ Hays Time Trial on Dallas Road and riding with the kids at the Tim Hortons Timbit Challenge.

 

New Racing in Mission 
Hosted by Pheonix Velo 

The Phoenix Velo Training Group is pleased to announce a brand new bike race for the hills of Mission for May 15th. In cooperation with the District

of Mission, race director Geoff Oram has crafted a tight, challenging course on a 5.5 km circuit featuring 500 feet of climbing with grades up to 14%. "The idea was to present riders with an event where there would be no hiding, the winner will be the strongest rider on the day" stated Oram.

2011 TNA Westside Classic 

On Sunday, June 12th 2011, the Wedgewood TNA WestsideCycling Team presents its seventh annual road race on the streets of Vancouver.

 

Returning to the scenic route surrounding Pacific Spirit Park near the University of British Columbia, the race will again be set against a spectacular backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountains and will attract racers from around the Pacific Northwest and Canada anxious to compete in one of Canada's premier cycling events.
