What if we rocked the world with hope?

The question rocked me a little.

What if we rocked the world with hope?

What if  I rocked  my world with hope?  What if I was  the most  hope-filled person in my sphere of influence?

What would that look like? And what impact would it have in my church, my home, my neighborhood and beyond?

To rock my world with hope. Not the fleeting, emotional kind of hope that is happy one day and despairing the next.

But the real, rock-solid, anchor for my soul and others' kind of hope that says no matter what things look like, I know my God is able. I know my God is seeing; I know my God is hearing; I know my God is moving. I know He loves me and I know He loves you and He  will bring good out of every situation! 

The kind of hope that says fear, no way! The kind of hope that says despair, good riddance! 

The kind of hope that says there's nothing too big, nothing too difficult, nothing too dark, nothing too scary, nothing too impossible for my God not only to handle, but to completely obliterate! 

The kind of hope that says I will not be shaken and I will not be moved! 

The kind of hope that people are actually looking for. 

The kind of hope that only Jesus offers. 

The kind of hope you and I have already.

What if. What if we actually took up the hope we already have. What if we meditated on it and marinated in it until we actually believed it. Believed it! Inside and out. Until it spilled out. On every person. In every situation.

Now that's the kind of hope that will rock my world and yours.

This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]... Hebrews 6:19 AMP

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5

She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: "You are the God who sees me," for she said, "I have now seen the One who sees me." Genesis 16:13
