BUNN and Carrollton Bank proudly present the Springfield Ballet Company's 23rd annual production of Rockballet featuring the music of three LEGENDARY artists -- Michael Jackson, Queen and Prince!

Rockballet is going to be an unforgettable performance!

Since its 1994 debut, SBC's annual production of Rockballet continues to be daringly different. The brainchild of SBC Artistic Director, Julie Ratz, Rockballet is a vivid and exciting mix of adventurous choreography, memorable music and high-intensity dancing. A multimedia celebration of dance and rock music, Rockballet has had a stunning impact on the way central Illinois views classical dance.

It is music visualized.

Christmas in July

As you enjoy the warmth of summer, you may find it's not too early to have visions of sugarplums dancing in your head.

Our skilled dancers and audiences of children and families count on your support to help bring those unforgettable visions to life in our annual production of  The Nutcracker.

Your generous donation helps the Springfield Ballet Company thrive in a world where funding for the arts continues to fall short.

To donate online via PayPal, please visit our website HERE.

We sincerely thank you for your continued support and for making our Christmas in July campaign a great success!

SBC Summer Intensive Workshop Session II a great success!

Springfield Ballet Company dancers recently wrapped up Session II of our 2016 Summer Intensive Workshops in preparation for SBC's fast-approaching 2016-2017 performance season!

Dancers took ballet, pointe, improvisation, contemporary ballet, conditioning, variations, modern and jazz from master teachers and choreographers Madeline Jazz Harvey and Matthew Harvey.
In addition to our 26 Company dancers, we had more than 25 local dancers attend Session II -- including dancers from the Springfield area and surrounding communities, as well as former SBC dancers and alumni.

Guest dancers Samuel Chester and Meghan Loman (SBC alum) also attended the workshop in preparation for performing in Rockballet: LEGENDS!
