We're back! Team Sprieser South returned to Virginia from a triumphant and productive Florida season, and we're thrilled to be back in the swing of things. Read on to read about our latest adventures, and learn what's next!
Congratulations, Eliza, on your new partnership with Ellegria!
LATEST NEWS
The last month in Florida was a whirlwind, with two fantastic pieces of news right at the end: the sale of two of our most favorite horses to new homes. My wonderful Johnny Road is off to Connecticut, where he'll join new owner Cynthia in her pursuit of the upper levels. And perfect princess Ellegria gets her very own Young Rider, Eliza, to whom she'll show the ropes of Grand Prix. And the greatest gift of all is that Ella and Eliza will be staying with us through the summer, Eliza working for us as a working student. Congratulations to all, and welcome to Eliza - we're so happy to have you!

AROUND THE FARM
We're also happy to welcome Dorie and her big, beautiful Frohlich to Sprieser Sporthorse! Dorie and Fro have visited before, and they join us again for the month of April to put the finishing touches on the Grand Prix work in anticipation of their competition debut this summer. Exciting times! Welcome back, Dorie and Fro.

As we gear up for the summer competition season, our short-term training stalls are filling very fast. If you're thinking of joining us for a brief stay, we need to know NOW, as we're very near capacity.  Email me to get on the calendar.

But we've got plenty of time for lessons. I am home for the next two weekends - a rare thing for me in April! - and Lisa, Natasha and I all have our regular lesson schedules up online at www.timecenter.com/spriesersporthorse. Have a look and sign up for what works for you. We're also hitting our hub sites, including Nokesville, Aldie, Upperville, Boyce, White Post, Richmond, Fredericksburg and more. Email me to learn more.

And last but not least, pardon our dust! Construction has already begun on our new round pen, as well as on our new paddocks. We're so excited to offer these new amenities to our clients, as well as to better manage our pastureland to keep beautiful green grass available to our horses for as long as Mother Nature allows!
We're thrilled for Sprieser Sporthorse South 2018!
WHAT'S NEXT

We may just have arrived from Florida, but we're already making plans for 2018. We've secured a lease on an absolutely STUNNING farm just north of Wellington, outside of White Fences. If you'd like more information about joining us in the Sunny South next year, email me for an information sheet.

We're also getting rolling on our 2017 competition plans. We'll have a big group going to both CDCTA at Morven (May 6-7) and Lexington Spring (May 20-21). If you'll be joining us at either of these shows, I need to know immediately, so I can plan our tack stall numbers.

Lastly, we're putting together our next visit with saddle fitter Colleen Meyer for sometime in late April, early May. Colleen's knowledge of saddles and fitting is unparalleled, and while she does sell saddles of her own, she'll look at other makes and models, and her sole priority is helping you and your horse feel your best within your budget. Email me to learn more about the process, and to sign up for a spot. Colleen works with both dressage and jumping saddles, and their fit is exceptional, at a better price than any other elite saddle company out there. You can't afford to miss this opportunity!

Sales is only a tiny part of our business, so when we have something on the market, you'll know it's something special!

On behalf of everyone at Team Sprieser, we look forward to seeing you around the farm!
