Support Romemu and Sacred Sounds at UJA's "Pop Up Philanthropy"

We're thrilled to report that Romemu's multi-faith initiative Sacred Sounds is a finalist to receive a grant from UJA. The grant will be given as part of an event called "Pop Up Philanthropy" where attendees are given the chance to vote on recipients. Grant winners will be based on the number of votes they receive in the room, so show up to support Romemu!
Tickets are $36 and will be matched 3-1 by UJA.

The Romemu Herring and Vodka Social Justice Film series is seeking a few individuals who can attend to the technical aspects of showing the films, including downloading the video files, hooking up the projector, and playing the film from a computer. Seeking New Members of Romemu's Chevra Kaddisha
Chevra kaddisha, meaning "holy society," performs the mitzvah of shmira for our members and their loved ones who have died. Chevra kaddisha volunteers
sit with/near the deceased, often reading psalms or meditating until the time of burial. Interested individuals or those seeking more information about this sacred work should email Rabbi Eva Sax Bolder at [email protected].
