Adult Reading Help Available

42 million adults have trouble applying for jobs, reading to their children or reading a prescription. If you know an adult who needs help improving their reading skills, please call or stop by the library. We can set them up with a trained volunteer tutor who can help. Call 734-942-7589.

The Adult Literacy Program is provided by a generous gift from EQ--Environmental Quality Co. and a grant from the Detroit Metro Book and Author Society.

Historic Newspaper Preservation Project
The Romulus Public Library is actively working to digitize 42 years of Romulus newspapers, making historic articles and images available and searchable online 24/7. Thanks to generous donations from several library supporters, newspapers dated 1967-1987 have already been digitized. There are still nearly 20 years of newspapers left to do. Please consider a tax-deductible donation to make these papers available for generations to come. "Adopt" a year, partial year or multiple years. Thank you!

e-Magazines Available!
Romulus Public Library patrons have access to hundreds of electronic magazines through a newly acquired database called Zinio. Download magazines to your computer or other device for free! Available to patrons with an active library card beginning with the 29022 prefix. Click on the link on the library website to get started. www.romulus.lib.mi.us
