Know Before You Show: New Rules for a New Competition Year
Stay up to date with rule changes that go into effect December 1, 2016, to better prepare you and your clients before entering the show ring.

Rule Highlight: Young Hunter Age Verification 
Beginning December 1, 2016, horses competing in the Young Hunter sections at USEF-licensed competitions must have their age verified

Owners of horses competing in these sections can verify the age of their horse(s) by logging into their My USEF My Way account and uploading breed papers, a sport horse registry passport, or other approved documentation under their horse's information. Last day to enroll in the International Hunter Derby Program for $350. Enroll­ment increases to $550 on Feb. 2.

Enrolled horses are eligible for inclusion on regional and national money won tracking lists and to participate in the International Hunter Derby Championship.
Feb. 1
Last day to enroll in the Green Hunter Incentive Program for $350. Enroll­ment increases to $550 on Feb. 2.

Enrolled horses are eligible to compete in Green Hunter Incentive Stake Classes, the Green Hunter Incentive Championship, and Champion­ship Bonus Prize Money. Tier II riders are also eligible for bonus prize money.
