The USHJA Board of Directors will hear candidate presentations and elect one of two nominees as President during their meeting scheduled for September 12 . The two candidates nominated for the Office of President for the USHJA are Diane Carney and Mary Babick. The Board of Directors meeting will be held Monday, September 12, at 1 p.m. CT at the Hyatt Regency DFW International Airport Hotel in Dallas, Texas, and a recorded webcast of the meeting will be posted on the USHJA website no later than the following day.  Read More

Still Time to Nominate Someone for the Vital Horse Show Staff Award!
The Vital Horse Show Staff Award was c reated to honor and recognize competition support staff, often working behind the scenes, whose current role is essential to the success of our horse shows. These announcers, starters, secretaries, technical coordinators, facility managers and their crews, ring crews and assistants of every type, who every day assist in moving our sport forward, are often overlooked and unacknowledged when awards are being distributed. The deadline to nominate a deserving individual for this award is Wednesday, October 5.

Lake Erie College will host the National Training Session, as well as the Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Nationals, presented by  The Plaid Horse, which runs concurrently, November 10-13. Read More
