JANUARY 30, 2018
Hello everyone! We aren't even through January yet and we're already looking at Gen Con. The biggest show of the year for Goodman Games requires a lot of prep work, and we need your help! Plus we have new product, the latest on Into the Borderlands, and much more! Let's get to it.
WHAT'S NEW WITH GOODMAN GAMES
NEW PRODUCT NOW AVAILABLE!
We've got some options for you to check out in our online store right now. Card decks, back-up adventures, a new DCC module, and one of our most anticipated releases!
INTO THE BORDERLANDS AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER!
The hype around Original Adventures Reincarnated: Into the Borderlands is very real. You have been asking about it, posting about it, and impressing us with your desire.

And now you can pre-order it.

Original Adventures Reincarnated: Into the Borderlands is a massive 384-page volume that reprints the classics D&D modules B1: In Search of the Unknown and B2: The Keep on the Borderlands. It reprints not one, but two versions of each of the original modules, as well as having a full 5E conversion of both. Not to mention interviews and articles about the original adventures and new sections of the Borderlands fleshed out for you to use in your game.

Don't miss out! Pre-order your copy today!
WAR PIT OF THE CHAOS WIZARDS
As if the phrase "War Pit of the Chaos Wizards" isn't enough to get a DCC fan excited, we've also got details!

The new printing of DCC #80: Intrigue at the Court of Chaos will feature a brand-new back-up adventure by Steve Bean entitled War Pits of the Chaos Wizards. It's a level 2 adventure that has your troupe of characters battling for a wizard who has summoned you to be her champions. She promises you fabulous weath and power if you win. All you have to do is let her kill you first and raise you back as bug-infested ghouls. No biggie.

The new printing of DCC #80: Intrigue at the Court of Chaos and the back-up adventure War Pits of the Chaos Wizards will release for Gary Con.
THE TOWER OF FACES!
Were you looking for a high-level adventure? Good, because we have a high-level adventure coming your way! And it's a doozy!

There are a few things about DCC #96: The Tower of Faces that are noteworthy. The fact that it is a level 6 adventure. The fact that it has a cover by acclaimed artist Sanjulian. And also the fact that it is based on the Rodneys Award winning module by Nick Judson. And if you put all of those together, you end up with a module that is hard to resist!

Another wizard has summoned your band of adventurers. (What is it with these wizards?!) This time he needs you to defend him while he casts a spell. Sounds easy, right? Before you say yes, you should know that the spell is going to take five days to cast, and he has a bevy of...shall we say unruly?...house guests to deal with.

Don't worry, if he succeeds you just have to deal with a horror from beyond this world that he has summoned. We won't mention what happens if he fails....

DCC #96: The Tower of Faces is now available for pre-order, and is scheduled to release at Gary Con.
FATE'S FELL HAND CARD DECK!
Earlier this month, our publishing partner, Other Worlds, released a Spanish edition of Fate's Fell Hand--and they took it a step further.

The Fate's Fell Hand Card Deck is a game aid that works to enhance the module in any language. In the module, entities from another reality have their loyalties "shuffle" every day. And now you can use these cards to shuffle them around in a very literal sense!

The cards are available as a separate item that you can purchase from our online store. If we are sold out by the time you read this, check back in a day or two, as we are expecting a restock!

INTO THE BORDERLANDS FAQ
As we stated above, you guys have shown a LOT of interest in our Original Adventures Reincarnated: Into the Borderland release. So much so that we took your questions and made them into a FAQ about the book.

We did our best to answer all of your questions about the module, so if you've been wondering, check out the information in the article!
ADVENTURES IN FICTION
ADVENTURES IN FICTION:
PHILIP JOSE FARMER
January would have seen the 100th birthday of acclaimed author Philip Jose Farmer. His World of Tiers novel series has been cited as one of the main influences on Dungeons and Dragons and the fantasy role-playing genre.

Jeff Goad takes you on a journey to explore the man and his works.
REAL LIFE ADVENTURES:
THE ROBERT E. HOWARD HOUSE
Just about everyone who is a fan of fantasy--whether it be fantasy novels, comics, movies or role-playing games--has heard of Robert E. Howard. He is considered by many to be the grandfather of sword and sorcery fiction, and is the creator of such legendary characters as Conan, Kull, and Soloman Kane.

Writer Marc Bruner took time out to visit his home in Texas, and shared his experiences with us.
ADVENTURES IN FICTION:
ABRAHAM MERRITT
Not many people recognize the name Abraham Merritt, but his contributions to the fantasy genre are difficult to ignore. Gary Gygax named him as one of the most immediate influences on AD&D.

James Maliszewski explores the life and works of one of the least-known and most influential fantasy writers of the genre.
FINAL WORDS
GRAB BAG UPDATE!
A couple of weeks back we announced that we had a new selection of our Grab Bags available. The key word in that sentence is "had."

You guys made short work of that! The Grab Bags are GONE! In a matter of hours you came in and gobbled them up and left us standing in grab bag debris with a stunned expression on our face.

Thank you so much for the amazing support! The Grab Bags are gone--for now. We'll let you know when, and if, they become available again!
ROADWORTHY!
We continue our new feature where we take a moment to look at some members of our Road Crew who have stood out and made us take notice. We are giving each of these talented folks a moment to bask in the glory of their accomplishment and take a bow as a member of the Goodman Games crew that we consider.... ROADWORTHY!
In our latest update, we take a look at Judge Joan Troyer.
