Our New Beginnings special fund appeal goal was to raise $60,000 or more. We raised more! Thanks to your generosity and commitment to First Church's ministry we raised $96,682 and have more funds to support our new beginnings in way yet to be determined. Thank You! 
Madison Half Marathon 
This Sunday Morning

The City of Madison has assured us we will have access to the church parking lot, but be aware that some streets around town will be closed at various times during the morning as runners pass by. So plan your route and we'll see you Sunday morning!
Look Who Came for a Visit!

Wednesday morning we welcomed Luis Viscarra and Briseida Cruz MirĂ³n from Habitat for Humanity-El Salvador. They are visiting here to strengthen connections with groups who have partnered with their organization.
Park Cars, Support Youth

Consider volunteering your time helping to park cars, earning money for the youth to engage the world through our mission trips. We have many shifts available that range from 2 to 3.5 hours this summer on Saturday mornings during the Farmer 's Market and other downtown events.

Church Closed Monday, May 30
The church building, offices and outreach services will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. 
Sewing Kit Collection for UMCOR
Help the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) help people who have been impacted by natural disasters. A collection bin for the kits will be available in the Octagon on Sundays, May 29 and June 5.

Young Adult Downtown Walk Around

As part of our info gathering to determine how we can better meet the needs of our downtown neighbors, the Young Adult Group will walk around downtown to observe who's out and about and what people are up to during the day in our neighborhood.
