The timeout feature for Cornerstone apps has been increased from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, to better balance convenience, performance and security.
Troubleshooting Spreadsheet Error Messages
The required and recommended software includes browsers, operating systems, and instructions on how to install the tool for journal entry and expense management spreadsheet uploads. If you cannot download software or updates, contact your unit’s IT support or System Administrator.
If a supplier you transact with is not in RU Marketplace or does not contain the correct address and contact information, you will need to add the supplier or modify the supplier record. Read the “Supplier conversion” system update for instructions on how to add or modify a supplier.
Human Resources and Payroll
The human resources and payroll help desk hours have changed. Visit the help desk page for new hours of operation and resources, including quick reference cards and new FAQs.
Expense Management – Direct Deposit Set-Up and Mobile App
To ensure direct deposit for reimbursements, enter your banking information manually into the application one time. A user-friendly mobile app will be available in 2017. Visit Cornerstone to learn more about the expense management system.
Faculty – Learning the New Systems
Faculty may participate now in non-targeted courses for grant accounting, expense management, procurement, and self-service. Targeted education will be available soon to help faculty learn the new systems and processes. These opportunities will be online, shorter, and focused on faculty-specific needs.
