Celebrate Brian O'Keefe's
Costume Designs
For Palm Beach Dramaworks' production of
Les Liaisons Dangereuses
|
Palm Beach Dramaworks' production of Christopher Hampton's Les Liaisons Dangereuses is perhaps the most visually sumptuous presentation in the company's 15-year history, featuring 26 resplendent period costumes designed by the outstanding Brian O'Keefe. On February 3, Ruth & Ted Baum, who sponsored the costumes for the show, opened the doors to their beautiful home for "Costumes & Cocktails," an invitation-only event that provided guests with an up-close and personal look at O'Keefe's meticulous handiwork. Cast members modeled the richly detailed costumes, which evoke French fashion just prior to the Revolution. O'Keefe, who was on hand for the festivities, has designed 26 productions for PBD, and received Carbonell Awards for his work on The Lion in Winter and A Doll's House.
Les Liaisons Dangereuses continues at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre through March 1.
