5th Annual Gala

The Rutherford Library Foundation Board is pleased to announce that its 5th Annual Gala will be held at Il Villaggio on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 6:30pm.  Mike and Tracy Paskas will be the recipients of the 2017 Foundation Award this year.

Recipients of the Foundation Award are identified by their commitment to both the Rutherford Public Library and the Rutherford community in general.

Since founding Rutherford Junior Football and Cheering in 1999, the Paskases have used their organization to benefit not just the children of Rutherford but also over two dozen community groups within Rutherford.  Together they donate their time, money, and resources on a regular basis to organizations including The Rutherford Public Library, Rutherford Public Schools, The Andrew Ortega Foundation, PBA and Michael Cassidy Runs and many more.  In the past 18 years, the RJF has raised over one million dollars and supported these organizations both financially and by sharing their many resources.

Through their generosity of time and resources, Mike and Tracy Paskas have become an integral part of the Rutherford community.  Their enthusiasm for volunteering and a commitment to helping fellow Rutherfordians through financial and practical donations embody the spirit of the Rutherford Public Library Foundation Award.  We invite you to honor them with us at our annual Gala this year.  Proudly sponsored by community bank BCB Rutherford, tickets to this event are $150 per person.  They may be purchased at the Library or online.
