Hear what you can do before, during and after Spring2ACTion to steward your donors and more importantly, immediately after S2A and throughout the year to grow and retain them. We'll be highlighting best practices and hearing from the experts in donor centered fundraising. We will also answer any last minute questions you have about Spring2ACTion and you can pick up Spring2ACTion promotional materials, including posters, flyers and yard signs.

Early Bird Gets the Golden Worm
Early giving begins April 11 - that's next week! There are several prize opportunities for nonprofits that receive donations during the early giving period (April 11-24). Below are a list of early giving prizes available. Get your engines revved and start promoting early giving with your donors. See a complete list of prizes here.

Early Giving Facebook Social Sharer - $250
$250 will be awarded to the nonprofit with the Facebook post (must include the hashtag #Spring2ACTion and email link to Kim Putens at [email protected] by April 25 at noon) with the most likes during Early Giving (April 11 - 24)

Early Giving Good. Works. Wednesday - $500
This prize, along with 20% of your donor's sales, will be awarded to the nonprofit that is mentioned the most at checkout at Penny Post and Red Barn on April 11th and 18th. This prize and your 20% sales will be awarded online so it will count towards your leaderboard totals!

Early Givers Get the Donors - $500
$500 prize will be awarded to the nonprofit with the most number of donors during early giving from April 11 - April 24.

Early Givers Get the Dollars - $500
$500 prize will be awarded to the nonprofit with the most number of dollars raised during early giving from April 11 - April 24.
Make the Day a Challenge with Matching Grants
Matching grants and challenge grants are a great way to inspire donors to donate and donate more. If you can gamify the challenge, even better. Learn here how to motivate your donors through matches and challenge incentives.

Don't forget to enter your matching and challenge grants on your S2A page. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, go here.

Speaking of your S2A page - make sure you're sharing the correct link with your donors - look for the S2A URL in the web address.

Yard signs, t-shirts, posters, flyers, stickers, balloons, and more are trickling in this week. We'll have them available for you at the training on Tuesday, April 10 at WSUMC, but you're welcome to swing by the office to pick them up. Be sure to call 703-739-7778 to make sure someone is here to help you. Also bring a bag to carry all of your goodies! And send any pictures - we'll share them on social media.

Give your 2 cents to Spring2ACTion every time you gas up at Yates Automotive on East Braddock Road during the month of April.

Two cents of every gallon will go to Spring2ACTion. Be sure to go over the Yates Automotive when your gas is near empty and fill up! Tell your neighbors too.
Bring your recyclable bags when you shop at Whole Foods. Every time you shop at Whole Foods (April - June), opt to donate your nickels to ACT/Spring2ACTion.

When you use your recyclable bags, be sure to choose to donate your 5 cent bag refund to support ACT/Spring2ACTion.
