MONTHLY NEWS & UPDATES
Greetings!

Thank you everyone who attended Sweden Day last week - what better way to celebrate Swedish culture and values than with food, music and kubb! Also a big thank you our sponsors for making this event happen, as well as to our honorary guests for the evening, Mr. Thomas Rosseland and Ms. Monica Enqvist from the Swedish Embassy. Monica shared something in her speech that greatly resonated with me. "Sweden will never compromise on things we consider core values, for example human rights, women rights & LGBTQ rights". This is something to be very proud of. Despite our size, Sweden is at the forefront when it comes to gender equality and is the best place to live in for women. It is also one of the most competitive economies in the world and was ranked last year by Forbes as the best country to do business in.

Sincerely,

Sara Persson
SACC-GA Executive Director
