In honor of NAHB's campaign, "May is National Home Remodeling Month," SAHBA Remodelers Council is funding a flight of commercials starting tomorrow on KVOA. The spots encourage consumers to trust their home improvements to the licensed, professional remodelers of SAHBA. Viewers will be prompted to visit the online member directory at SAHBA.org .

#2 Proposed Changes to County Facility Impact Permit
The Pima County Flood Control District is proposing new rules regarding the permitting of improvements on District property and/or that impact District infrastructure. The rules mostly change the process for getting authorization since the current method, Right of Way permit, has weaknesses and does not do a good job in some instances. Read more .

About 85 professionals turned out for the SAHBA+MPA Meetup on May 1st at Barrio Brewing Company. By all accounts, it was a really enjoyable night. We talked business over brews, gave away a dozen door prizes through members' generosity, and enjoyed meeting new acquaintances.
