News for the Parents of Saint Andrew Catholic School
March 27, 2018
Dear Families,

Welcome to Holy Week! This is, hands down, my favorite week at Saint Andrew Catholic School. The morning Gospel readings have been leading us up to the Holy Triduum readings. Students have been walking the hallways praying our school Stations of the Cross displayed across campus. The Jesus Trees are filling up with ornaments decorated by our students. Plans are being finalized for Thursday's services. We will start with the Procession with Palms, courtyard prayer service and then Tenebrae. Students will partner with their Saints on a Lenten Activity. Finally, our day will close with the 11:00 Passion performed by our 8thgrade students. Please join us if you are able. We would love to have you!

Only by His Grace,
Veronica D. Tucker

R.I.P. Shadow

I am sad to share that Shadow, our school mascot, died over the weekend after faithfully serving our student body for the past 16 years. Shadow was buried near the Hope Tree in the courtyard. Shadow will be greatly missed. After Easter, Mrs. Louden's class will sponsor a cat food drive in Shadow's memory. More info to come.
